@13sinister true, but you should also take into consideration the cost of all the dvds you'll keep burning and burning. on the long run, youll spend much more than 100. also consider how conformtable is to have ALL your games in a small ext hdd, instead of having hundreds of dvds

@TheDarkDenial yes, you need to extract the key from you firmware drive if you want use x360key it's the only way to system recognize and run games. To extract key you need plug you xbox dvd drive in you pc via sata and run jungleflasher This procedure it's a part of unlocking with ixtreme, try find any tutorial to know how use jungleflasher

@TheDarkDenial Have you tried to unlock you console? Cause, it's strange stop reading, this normally happen when people insert a firmware without the dvd key, so the system don't recognize the drive so it can't read any disc.

could someone plz help me for some reason my xbox wont read any disc i opened my dvd drive to look up what the problem was but i couldn t find anything and everytime i put a disc in it says reading for 1 sec and then open tray it isnt in the dvd drive because i replaced it but nothing helped what the hell!!

I don't know what "tiny groove" he's talking about with the flat short cable when passing it out of the xbox, so i'm just going to connect it by passing it out the top.

Ahora solo les falta resolver lo de la actualización del dae.bin El 17 de noviembre quedo inservible todos los xkey al conectar las consolas en línea y descargar una actualización Microsoft de manera transparente. Ese día lo instale solo me duro el gusto 2 hrs.

All of those who been having problem that you don´t get mixed media disc when you "open tray" have to have a DAE.bin file in your game directory and it must be a match to your dashboard version, don´t know if you have to have it in every folder or just in the root of your HDD. anyway that fixes the problem with not been able to find any games on your HDD. If you have usb powered hdd you can get unreadable disc if not power is sufficient.

@OzModChips Is it possible for you to make a tutorial about how to work the new xkey in it's entirety. I've tried everything to get mines to work and it just wouldn't load anything. I've even tried the update but it acts is if the FCCUSB is not there. when I press "open tray", it goes to "close tray" then "Reading" then back to open tray.
