  • I have mixed feelings about this change in the immigrants hiring policy.

I came to work in Vermont USA in 2006 for 1 year as an IT consultant. Legaly and all that.

So from my point of view i don't care if they add this against illegals.

    BUT...but..

i feel that somehow the rights of the average american citizens are being violated systematically under the falsepretext of "checking them up"

The privacy part, and even the fact that it's innacurate or can be exploited poses a BIG problem.

  • CentalFlagGirl is right, if you are here legally you have nothing to worry about, regardless of race.

  • If it was really flawed, those people unjustly fired would be all over the news.

  • That is absolutely FALSE. Not one "legal" worker has come forward to prove that they were unjustly fired.

It makes no sense to pay our unemployed to sit home while iilegals work their jobs, and at a tune of Billions per year! Their unemployment will run out and then what, they end up homeless.

It's disgusting for any U.S. citizen to go aginst our unemployed and economy. Mexico doesn't allow this nonsense, we shouldnt either!!!

  • If you are in this country legally to work, you should have no problem proving it. As an American, our country has welcomed immigrants from all over the world. The immigration system is broken by the same people that are suppose to enforce it and business that are quite happy to work people under poor, unsafe conditions with low income and no recourse to take action against them. THIS is not immigration folks! This is not what America offers immigrants coming to our shores. It is time to stop.

  • No problem with e-verify, our government is run by big business and they like cheap labor. Who is against e-verify? The US Camber Of Commerce representing business and special advocacy groups that feel that it is OKAY for people to come to this country when they are not able to work legally. Worried about hackers when you have 7 million people working here illegally (they say), that's 7 million frauds.

Hope it's not your grandma's # or some family that doesn't qualify for help cuz of it.

  • Informative without having an issue with information overload.

  • I thought that your video was very informative. I didn't realize that this program was so flawed. Is anyone's social security number vulnerable to hackers with this program?

  • This presentation is really informative. I live in California and I had no idea that all businesses are supposed to use the program or that there are so many problems with it
