@DirtySouth2DirtyJerz biggie was scared to get in the gangsta life that's why he just kept his mouth shut all the time and didn't want no problems (people say its because hes mature) no its because biggie was scared of all the things that happened to 2Pac and knew he could be next. whereas 2pac still did real nigga things lol, and biggie just lost interest in all the old things and money went further into his head

@Fuckdisworld93 Well I'll tell you what, when Biggie rapped about drug dealing, he was talking about his past. When he talks about totin' guns, he was likely talking about after he got famous. And you can't say he never toted guns. He doesn't have any gun charges, but that means he never got caught. 2pac went to college and ballet school for crying out loud. What self-respecting thug child becomes a ballerina? I still respect 2pac but we both don't know their histories 100%.

@DirtySouth2DirtyJerz biggie is great yes one of the best. but biggie did not live about most of the stuff he raps about. he was never hard or tote guns or anything like that. he was a regular kid that went to private school that wanted nice stuff and started selling crack. 2Pac on the other hand talked about shit that happened to him and the world. sometimes 2Pac might exaggerate on things but biggie can only say that he was a drug dealer.

@gleesocks Actually the background instrumental is a breakbeat that has been used by different producers. (The 45 King used it in ''Spread Love'' in 1990) so this could be when Biggie was 17.
