Old Macdonald Had A Farm (1946)

Screen Songs is the name of a series of animated cartoons produced by the Fleischer Studios and distributed by Paramount Pictures between 1929 and 1938. They were revived by Famous Studios in 1945.

Old Macdonald is tired, and he gets happy as soon as the music starts, "Old Macdonald Had A Farm!" This is a sing-along short featuring the famous "bouncing ball", a sort of precursor to music videos.

@deedersss I agree. As a little girl, I loved this. I didn't notice until watching it now that that was in there. The last time I watched this was when I was 3 or 4. Racism was terrible back then, even in cartoons. And there still is some racism today... -_- Terrible and unbelievable... :(

Oh my god I never realized how racist this is. I used to watch it all the time as a little girl!!! It's still a good cartoon, but it's amazing how it used to be acceptable to have blackface in a cartoon. Terrible.

I love how these cartoons were so honest about the times. They had guts and didn't give a shit. Violence, racism, etc.

Mann the black sheep triplets was so racist. I didn't see the racism in it until I became older and research racial stereotypes in animation.
