Talking about anonymity at motovlgger meetups and are there cliques in the motovlogging community?

And sorry about the audio, left the camera on setting 1 from when I was doing some testing. Will be fixed.

  • haha, my user name is pretty stupid so I could only imagine telling people to only call me that. Hey, EEEKROAR, do you like ranch dressing?

  • @EEEKROAR Definitely have a point there...lol

  • I agree. Can't be 100% anonymous at a big meetup. Its not reasonable to think you can. It is good form not saying a person's last name, or where they work, that kinda real personal stuff but first names and faces are pretty much fair game. :D

  • @RC62 I have made it through 4 pretty good sized meetups since I started vlogging and we have never had a problem. Have met some great people and the meetups are one of the highlights of my year.

  • Definitely not anonymous here! Been behind a camera since the late 70's and now enjoy being "part" of the camera and interacting. Bad vlogs and editing, yep that's just me 8-)

  • @BrianWest58 I really have no problem with people maintaining their anonymity, but dont try and force others in a group setting to maintain your boundaries. Think I am saying that right..lol.

And as long as a vlog has a meaning or a well thought out group of ideas, it is never bad.

  • @Wilks89 Oh i'm not disagreeing with you. I just liked how you said man to man. :)

  • @LifeInDecibel It is one thing to sit behind a monitor when you have all the time in the world to think and formulate ideas on who and what you want others to see you as. It is completely different when you are standing face to face with another human being and have to be prepared on the spot to communicate your answers. If that is difficult for some to do, then a big group meeting would not be your forte.

  • Man to man!!!

  • @Rand0mRider Have no clue. Maybe you should ask iamramekin. It was his comment that I saw. Would love for him to do a video reply and explain his side.
