Here is a tip about getting the daubers more cheaply. You can purchase a package of the dauber tops from Ranger or a craft store. These tops fit perfectly on top of a standard acrylic craft paint bottle, which is much less expensive than the paints from Ranger, plus you get many more colors to choose from!
Thank you so much for sharing this technique! I am definitely going to try it!

Hi Leslie
Ohh thanks, what a great idea about the dabber tops! I have to admit I'm on a bit of an experiment with different objects to apply paint with. Different foams create different textures. Lots of painty messy play yey.
Best wishes and have fun playing
Billie
One tip, if you are putting lots of layers on, go for more substantial cardstock. Anything too thin, may fall apart during the process. ;)
