  • Exactly! Greater aerobic capacity equals better performing anaerobic systems.

  • Weissie -Isn't anerobic capacity used with an "aerobic flame"? You really never work in the absence of 02 but you work above the bodies ability exhausting the bodies cap. to use the aerobic system as its prime energy source. Therefore the > a player's aerobic base the better. If you are interested see more recent research on this, and check out NHL combine scores, notice the diff. in Euro and NA players and top physically players vs lower scores.
