2010: MAY YOU HAVE.... enough faith, hope, peace and light.

A couple of months ago, I read a poem entitled, "May You Have".. poet unknown. The poem touched me when I read it, so much so that I wanted to create a video. So for the past couple of months I have been trying to find some images to go along with the poem. It wasn't until the last couple of days that things came together, especially once that I found the song to use. I took some liberty to change some of the lines of the poem that seem more relevant to my thoughts, me hopes and my wishes for everyone in 2010. We are approaching some very interesting times ahead. May this video bring you hope, comfort and needed strength for the days ahead. Here is the original poem.

May you have...
enough happiness to keep you sweet,
enough trials to keep you strong,
enough sorrow to keep you human,
enough hope to keep you happy,
enough failure to keep you humble,
enough success to keep you eager,
enough friends to give you comfort
enough wealth to meet you needs,
enought enthusiasm to look forward,
enough faith to banish depression,
enough determination to make each day better than yesterday.

The song is Reflections of Christ Theme, and is the last track on the Hymns of the Savior CD.

Blind faith, courage, love and patriotism does not instil light to ones blind mind. Know why you nned to have faith. 1) Know what is it. 2) study the object upon which it rests. 3) Know the effects which flow from it. This will instil knowledge and power that fertilizes love and courage. Patriotism: 1) Know your God Given rights. 2). Know the purpose of the US Const. in relation to these rights 3). Know the meaning of the Oath of office.
