  • Its quality is probably better, it was made by JVC for their camera. This product was now around when I bought the M2. Anyway I can use the M2 on all my cameras.

  • Don't you think the JVC HZ-CA13U gives better film quality result than the M2 even though its more expensive?thanks

  • The Length is not a problem. The balance point is just behind the rod holder. Balance point can be adjusted by moving tripod mounting plate.

  • Is the lenght of the the camera and adapter not too much to balance comfortably on a tripod.I have same camera, but i fear its balance might be endangered given the lenght. Cheers.

  • Youtube is not allowing me to post the link on here, if you type "jvc gy-HD200 lens adapter comparison" in google click on the first link and you can find the info there, for me its ideal because i dont have enough money laying around to buy the more expensive adapters

  • Where can I find them. That would make the camera more manageable.

  • nah i was reffering to either the ZORK 35 mm adapter or the MTF one, they both enable you to use nikon lenses to get the DOF you can pick them up for around $500

  • If you are referring to the JVC HZ-CA13U, it was not available at the time I purchased the camera.

I bought the M2 and Mattebox for around the same cost of the HZ-CA13U.

Also I can use the M2 with other cameras that I own. I plane to use it on one of the HM100s that I will be bring to Ethiopia to do a documentary of June 2010

  • ive got the same camera why not just buy a nikon 35mm adapter and use their lenses?
