@AngelusDlion It does matter considering how people complained about Dormammu, Taskmaster, and Spencer getting in over more popular characters and yet they're seen more than more popular characters like Iron Man, Spider-man, Thor, Chun Li, Morrigan, Chris, and pre Ultimate Cap. She-Hulk also had complaints about her inclusion and was pretty prominent in the original until they nerfed her.

@KCJ506 Yeah, I see where you're getting at. Mega Man would be nice to have, but who would really use him if he did show up? You mentioned Strider here. I hear in Marvel 2, Strider was real popular, but here, not so much the case. Who knows if Mega Man would end up the same or not. Still, with his fan(boy)base as it is right now, I don't really care to find out. I could wait longer. Besides, no one went this insane for Phoenix Wright's inclusion in a Capcom fighter.

@GameAW1 What I wonder is if MM was in the game, how many of the people that won't shut up about him would use him? Look at how many people wanted PW and look how many actually use him. The same thing can apply to Strider. I've seen Vergil, Nemesis, and I think even Firebrand more than him.

It really wouldn't surprise me if MM ended up low tier or requiring high execution a lot of these people went "Oh he's too hard to use and isn't very good. NVM. I'll just use Wesker instead."

(Note that this feeling does not apply to Megaman fans who genuinely are disappointed by his absence, but aren't making asses out of themselves and still judge this game fairly regardless.)

Okay, honestly, I'm probably going to end up starting a flame war by saying this, but I think it needs to be said. I love Megaman and all, but with the way too many people are bashing this game because he's not in, I think it needs to be said, and (although near-impossible) I hope someone from Capcom happens to read this. If Megaman fanboys are going to whine and scream this much,because he's not in a game, then I hope Capcom never includes him in another fighting game ever again. (cont.)
