READ AU PLOT:
Uther's pretty much the same, tries to kill off every sorcer in Camelot, Morgana suspects she has it in her and trusts Merlin cause well...their friends. He goes to see the Dragon and the dragon warns him about her. He decides not to believe him and instead says he wont turn his back on her, instead he remains cautious about her... (i totally blame merlin because of Morgana's change to the darkside, he should have been there for her and truly helped her out instead of just being cautious around her). Morgana in the meantime is trying to resolve her issues by trying to kill off Uther, believing it all we'll be ok once he's out of the picture. Slowly she's turning to the darkside but we still can see glimpses of the old Morgana.
Later Morgana has a vision of Arthur going away and finding the Dragon who tells him about her, that she's a witch and..dangerous. Afraid Arthur might hate her or judge her, Morgana flees to stop him from leaving but he goes anyways. So when he goes off on his quest he does find the Dragon and he tells him Morgana's a witch, Arthur who cant believe it at first is devasted cause growing up with that kind of father made him beware of magic, thats why she couldnt tell him about her. The Dragon tells him to kill her.
Arthur comes back and confronts Morgana, its pretty easy to follow through. Morgana who's evil...has never hurt Arthur and doesnt want to, she even warns Morgause she wont hurt Arthur, and warns her not to hurt him either, she may be evil and doesnt care about anyone but she does care about Arthur stil (unlike the BS we've seen on the show when they totally made a brain transplant to-...not the point.)
The story ends with Arthur sparing Morgana, banning her from Camelot instead of killing her because of her ultimate betrayal.

Uther: I...Uther Pendragon, have decreed that such practices are banned, on penalty of dead...for the crime of sorcery there is but one sentence I can pass.
Uther: By the laws of Camelot, I must sentence you to death.
Morgana: Im scared Merlin.
Merlin: Someone I care about needs the help.
Dragon: You speak of the witch..-
Merlin: She's not a witch! She's my friend!
Dragon: She cannot be trusted. It would be better if the witch never knew the true extent of her powers.
Merlin: You're wrong! I know her...she has a good heart. I wont abbandon her.
Dragon: she is dangerous!
Morgana: Arthur! Arthur, No! I wont let you go!
Arthur: how can i admit that i think about her all the time? that i care about her more than anyone? how can i admit that i dont know what i'd do if any harms comes to her.
Dragon: the witch...the lady morgana. She is dangerous and now she has chosen to turn her back on her own.
Arthur: its not true!
Dragon: you must kill her.
Arthur: no.
Dragon: her life matters more to you than your own.
Morgana: you dont have to do this.
Arthur: youre nothing but a hypocrite and a liar!
Morgana: how can you hope to understand? Do you think i deserve to be executed because of who i am?
Arthur: ive known her all my life how could she do this to us?
Morgana: no sister, you dont understand. If anything happens to Arthur, ill find you.
Arthur: you must leave camelot.
Morgana: you're a better man than your father...always were.

I agree with you about Morgana's dark side as a direct result of Merlin's actions. She reached out to him throughout season 2 and he did abandon her like he said he wouldn't based on suspicions that were only partially true. Anyways great video! I love how you put it all together! :D

@2xEpic thank you very much <3 i know right? we knew from the legends morgana was merlin's number 1 enemy but the way the show throw them together as enemies was ridiculous! they were friends, instead of reaching out to her and make her see sense he abbandonded her or well...poisoned her to get her out of the way. it was really sad, becase they had a great relationship.
