Brutal Legend Multiplayer 04: Drowning Doom vs Tainted Coil Part 1

This a video showing off a Brutal Legend multiplayer match, which consists of epic "stage battles" where opponents lead armies against their enemies to ultimately destroy the opponent's stage. These stage battles have been getting a lot of flak from the press; hopefully these multiplayer videos give some insight into what Brutal Legend really plays like, and you can judge for yourself whether you like it or not.

Well, I don't know about this one. Again, I am not 1337 at this game and you can see me suck a lot. The Tainted Coil guy was pretty good at kicking my ass mono-a-mono, I countered that by using the all-important double teams--that was rather effective! He probably should of tried killing my units instead of killing me, and he also never stayed with his army (bad idea).

I also suspect he was trying to tech too fast when he should have been massing more units perhaps? I only saw his army once during this part and my army promptly wiped them out (those pot-bellied Ratguts are insane against infantry).

Another big part was he never went for the fan geysers (resource nodes) on the sides, which meant he couldn't get an army built nearly as fast as I could, especially when I got the the middle geyser.

How can you level up online?

@Khaine53 The "leveling up" in Brutal Legend is a ranking system that rates you based the rank of your opponent that you beat and such. It's actually pretty wonky from what I've heard and can be heavily exploited. I'd just stay away from it.

Good times, for anyone who doesent know I was the rank 1 Drowning Doom player since then I have retired from XBL, has there been any balance changes to buffing the DD?

Do people still play this on Xbox? Because I've seen a total of 2 players online on the PS3 version, both left the game immediately for no reason. It would be nice to play with some human players instead of AI's, it is fun, it's just I need a challenge.
