  • Nice! Im just practising this fugue, and i wish i'd play like that. Very good work!

  • I'm 13 but i love this music (i'm french) and i love a classical's musics !! ♥ ♥ ♥

  • Woah, that must be a hell difficult play to perform! o__o

    And for the first time I finally how the foot-part works! Thnak you~ ^o^

    Man I wish one day I could this fugue with organ in REAL.. ;____;

  • bravisimo

  • maravilloso!

  • great performance, however if you increased speed a little, I think their will be much more power in this Fuga.

  • @ccoraxfan While I agree with yr sentiments in general, the cost of overhauling "the real thing" was far beyond the small congregation's means. All this was debated seemingly endlessly at the time but the outcome was quite satisfactory. The original instrument remains in place and its ersatz replacement sounds just the same so that no-one notices the difference. Sometimes "chill penury represses our noble rage" and we just have to make the best of things - cheers

  • @grizzlyganymede The cathedral replaced something real with something fake, but everything's just fine... Yeah, keep telling yourself that.

    As for the "aging pipe organ" part, it's interesting that some of the organs Bach played on are still being played today. Will these electronic gadgets still be in use in 300 years? And do you think just maybe the "aging pipe organ" could have been fixed instead of replaced?

  • Wow, very good! I never knew how much practice was behind organ playing until our music appreciation professor explained it to us. I love it! :D

  • I recall the horror in our community some years back when our local Cathedral announced plans to replace the ageing pipe organ with an electronic one. Like everyone else I was expecting one of those revolting Wurlitzer things with the synthetic vibrato ...... But our fears were groundless. I can't tell the difference with the more expensive instruments. Even one's lounge can become a great cathedral - provided they can play, has the dough and no near neighbours ...............
