mayun you got to admirer the passion of these performers, but when your overseas it doesnt mean that you gta change the way tongan dances and beats are done solely for other peoples entertainment ay.. there are cultural reasons and meanings that are assigned to these dances and beat and when you take it out of its original purpose, in a way you are devaluing the cultural meanings of these dances when you use it in this format... regardless where we are we must ""pukepuke ' etau koloa fakafonua"
@Holonga11 Sorry for the name-calling though. I was just a bit pissed because many of my relatives have performed with PCC. Fkmolemole atu masi'i. mo'oni ho lau, kapau na'a ko Tonga eni....io totonu ke taa'i e kau tanafa ke havehave!! haha
@Tzuuuup39 I DO know Shit about drumming hypocrite!! I used to live in Tonga and I was one of the many drummers for Tonga High School for their Ma'ulu'ulus, Me'etu'upakis and theyre Kailaos. Since Ive lived in Hawaii, I have learned to embrace the over-seas type of faiva " SOLELY FOR ENTERTAINMENT." Why do you think you DON'T ever see a Faha'iula or a Me'etu'upaki in these over-sea performances?
@tautafari808 The name calling makes u look like dumbass. You aint gotta talk about money though. They probably make more money then you do so shut up. You act like you know shit about drumming. he's just saying because thats how he was raised, what he's used to and what he was taught. This beat sounds hella off anyways. Not like the palangi people would know! It may not be Tonga, bt THEY REPRESENTING TONGA. Duuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
