The Dow Jones Industrial Average suffers a loss of almost 635 points, or 5.55%, to 10, 809.85, its sixth-worst point loss ever and its biggest loss since 12/2008. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was off 6.66%, and the Nasdaq Composite Index lost 6.90%. This is increasing evidence that the U.S. and global economy are slowing down and another sign of the times.
The collapse is coming.
