On September 24, 2009, the American Cancer Society presented a live webcast featuring Colleen Doyle, M.S., R.D., the Societys director of nutrition & physical activity, and the Societys latest cookbook, titled What To Eat During Cancer Treatment. This cookbook is designed to help cancer patients and their caregivers by providing great recipes and useful, comforting advice about cancer nutrition.
Very interesting video, that book could be a very useful guide for the nutrition of people that suffer cancer. I guess it might depend on which cancer is a person suffering or just on the side effect of the diet. There is more information on cancer at Symposier site for physicians interested in this topic.

I had nonhodgens lymphoma in 2001, I never had to worry about what I ate or taste, never gave up fried, spicy or any thing except salads( but not to strickly) when white count was low, that is untill radiation to neck area which affected swallowing then all I could get down was ice cream or water at which point I lost about 80 lbs because I could not eat for about 2 months, "Wife said I looked Good" but I have gained weight back . So far all reports good on 1yr visits now. Dr very Happy, Me 2
