@WarcraftAzaman The REASON so many new players have so much trouble doing Akira's 1 frame knee or his Dragon Lance combo (seen here in this video DFK,F+P,bffP+K ) is because they are using a control pad. A control pad inputs are analog and too slow for VF5. There is no "analog pad mode" for VF5, all the inputs require arcade stick speed. VF5 is an ARCADE game it requires an ARCADE stick to play even at an intermediate level. Your blistered thumbs will thank you for the upgrade.

@WarcraftAzaman You are trying to iceskate uphill dude. Using an analog Controller is just an exercise in Frustration in VF5. It is not a 1:1 ratio between the action you see on the screen and your input. As such, move that you need to hitcheck WON't work as they should, you wiullhave to telegraph your inputs WAY too much and making it harder than it needs to be. Use an arcade stick especially if you want to do Akira's SPOD or Vanessa's neutral reversals consistently.

cant use the fucking analogue but i love this game.but bring the fucking analogue back

@WarcraftAzraman they're not too fun on a PS controller either; I went through about 3 PS2 controllers and almost a PS3 one just to get good at this. With that said, I would rather a cheaper, broken in D-pad than a joystick; I know it's weird to say but I'm more experienced and interested in a D-pad over the stick. The trick for the D-pad for these kind of moves isn't to roll 41214 or 63236 (eg. as suggested by Homestay Akira) but rather to use 114 or 336 (crouching bck/fwd dash) for the moves.

2 of these are hard if you use an Xbox 360 Controller, that's why I ordered me an Arcade Stick ;)
