You're so right. UCSB is amazing and is in the top ten party schools according to Playboy.
But it is highly respected academically, and one of the friendliest college campus' as well.

@MrWerewolf77 college is about LIFE experience. its not just about "academics". i promise you most of the kids go here because of the beach, and the lifestyle AND the academics. I can't enjoy all the cool stuff too? how is it meaningless? i have no desires to spend all 4 years inside a library. the view, the parties, thats all apart of it! and I'm not wearing a "unnecessarily revealing top" its called a swimsuit since i was TANNING ON THE BEACH.
