This is a camera a lot of people will want. It's an actual camera, not a computer with a lens like a 550D and others. In other words it's the nearest to a Leica M9 for a 1/5 of the price. Well played Fuji.

not sure.. i love the idea of this camera, but i think is way too expensive.. maybe the olympus om-d will be cheaper but i do not think so..
even if the review is fantastic and the future review will be too. i am afraid is too expensive.
pity..... and the prime lenses are good for quality but not for convenience even though it is likely fuji will put on sale a zoom in 2013. ( a rumour). but still to expensive camera..... fuji x100 will go down in price maybe a good choice... cheaper at least.

Great review, great camera. The more I use primes, the less I care for zooms; but I would hope that Fuji produce a 23mm prime (35mm equiv) down the track.

@Meshwork123 That'd likely infringe on the X100's sales... I wouldn't rule it out, but I don't think it'll be the first lens they'll rush to launch.

A few discrepancies, says the 18mm is F1.8 when it's shown as F2. Also at the end it mentions the rear screen is only 460,000 dot where as everywhere else mentions it as 1.4 million and HD. A little bit too expensive for body only really, drop it about $300 and you'd get the whole camera world into it, this price... probably only 50% ;)
