Part Two : -
Seems that old spies never die, they just become politicians, a significant member of this club is in The New South Wales Capital at this time, namely Vladimir Putin who is ex KGB. To me a very Can Do Guy, with plenty of no nonsense attitude & his American counterpart, the Son of George H W Bush, who was the former Top Man at The CIA.
It makes a chap like me feel very pleased that The Australian & Russian Governments have signed such a sensible deal, which is a win win for both countries as Russia gets her hands on much needed Uranium in an agreement worth many billions of dollars to The Australian Economy. On a personal note, it is also a good feeling to know that one of the most admired, eloquent & incredibly fashionable political beauties of our time is backing this deal, the lady in question of course is the doyenne of US Foreign Policy, Condoleezza Rice.
And lastly it is gratifying to see The Prime Minister looking every bit the Statesman he truly is, he will go down as one of Australia's living treasures & finest PM's !

If the late Queen of France, Marie Antoinette were with us today, I'm sure she would have said "Let Them Eat Yellow Cake" { It will enrich the nation ! }

  • Well I'm just glad that The Russian Bear has resumed it's station, there was nothing better than The Cold War Days as it kept all on their toes !

  • You are so very right Shaxmatist. I would like to see less media opinion and more reporting. This happens all too much with Bush too. We already know how they feel now I wish they would stand down.

  • Has to do something with the end of that reporter's carrier.

  • Some reporters are just there to stir up shit. What does his question about Howard's leadership have to do with the APEC meeting? Nothing.
