3D Animation - Jellyfish (Maya)

A small 3D animation of a jellyfish moving through a minefield in the ocean! It's somewhat hypnotic watching the jellyfish pulsating underwater, and I think this animation seems to capture that effect well.

Animation was made in Maya back in 2007 for an assignment, but I never ended up uploading to Youtube after it was done. So here it is for all my subscribers who are waiting for me to upload something new! Jellyfish object and tentacles were made using NURBs and animated by blending meshes and animating curves.

Awesome music by Vangelis (pitch is slightly lowered from the original track).
