The Barnacle Knot is a slight modification of the Ashoka Chakra Knot. Integrating a series of alternating half hitches (or a series of larks heads), the knot takes on the tapered columnar look of Acorn Barnacles, common along the shores of California. • You guys always have such a great, relaxing soundtrack with these videos, it's one of the reasons I love watching them so much, it turns them into something a little mesmerizing. Once again, great knot work, and thanks for the video!

  • @SimulantSlumber - There's only one person here (me... JD). Still, I appreciate your liking the music. *smile*

  • This was my first knot when I started with paracord :). Thanks for the easy to follow instructions

  • Love this simple necklace. how to you fasten around your neck?

  • ok just wondering but it really does not look like your using 6 feet of cord?

that looks like it would make a awesome necklace ..but it doesn't seem it should take 6ft worth of cord.

Also too on a side note you have fantastic hands for a contractor =)

Thanks for the videos and your channel i am intrigued and fascinated =)

  • what do you do with all the scrap pieces of cordage?

  • This is a really cool knot that is easy to do. I have made several in the last few days and they have all turned out great. Thanks for a great video.
