The Barnacle Knot is a slight modification of the Ashoka Chakra Knot. Integrating a series of alternating half hitches (or a series of larks heads), the knot takes on the tapered columnar look of Acorn Barnacles, common along the shores of California. ok just wondering but it really does not look like your using 6 feet of cord?

that looks like it would make a awesome necklace ..but it doesn't seem it should take 6ft worth of cord.
