    To hide the screen I used the face plate of the original 2DIN radio - cut it and leave on top of the screen - looks like stock radio even from 1 foot distance :)

    Sorry, I didnt do any write-up on this install but I'll try to answer the question u might have.

    Yes, I had PC at the trunk. I used a piece of thick plywood to cut a new spare tire cover and fabricated metal hooks to hold the PC. I ran 2 wires - VGA and USB - from the trunk thru the cabin all the way to the Lilliput screen. I layed it under the carpet on the side, removed plastic that on the side, dont know how to call it right. USB for the touch function to work and VGA for video output.

  • I have a Celica GT as well, I am trying to gather more information about how to install a Car-PC, did you put the CPU at the trunk? and then you ran lines to connect the touchscreen? Is there a how to for these things? is it possible to have it close and hide the screen in case you live outside of safe places? Great job by the way.
