Global4D at Wired NextFest 2007

This exhibit is linked with a projector on the top. The map on the global and the label description are projected from the projector. When we rotate the table (the ring) and turn it left/right, it change the time period and so does the map. It projected onto the revolving sphere viewable to any angle. (i.e. The map will change accordingly). You can glide back to Jurassic period and see how the earth (map) look like that that moment.
