The documentary "Wernher von Braun: The Rocket Man," premiered Monday at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center during the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing.
The 20-minute documentary was produced and written by Ed Buckbee for Broadview Media and sponsored by the Alabama Tourism Department. Buckbee is a former NASA public affairs officer, was first director of the U.S. Space & Rocket Center and is now an author and all-around space advocate.
The movie covers four decades of von Braun's career, from his time in Germany through the final years of Apollo and the founding of the Space Center.
In addition to archival footage of von Braun, the documentary includes fresh interviews with some of the men and women who worked with him for so many years.
Does anyone know where I can order this on dvd?

& don't read the Peenemunde parts of Gravity's Rainbow either, cause you wouldn't want to reach a level of awareness of reality that matches more to what's really going on

Saying "he was in the rocket business in germany" is more euphemistic than calling a janitor a "sanitation technician."

Oh how his apologists would be so proud. Nice amount of complete oversight in favor of a self-congratulatory mythology.

he was a genius no doubt
but he exploited slave labour in wartime Germany developing the V2 and A4 rockets
that he can not wash his hands of
