im new to this whole bass thing. do u have any tips for using both sides? probably sounds like a dumb question but i dont want to pick up (no pun intended) bad habits, get good, and then have to reteach myself to not only use one side of the pick

@AlmostaFlipinSkater You should try to sync with the music timing, just practice. One important thing is make your hands "free", something like to permit your hands do the job in stead to make it hard the movement.
My English is very poor, but i really want to help you.
