  • Hello! We almost have the same username! This school reached out to me a few weeks and let me say that they did a pretty good job in advertising themselves. In other websites I have read about reviews for this school. I might be attending in Fall 2012 for their architecture program and I will like to get info about the school from a current student in any area or even better architecture area. Thank you for your time! Blessings!

  • @SpatterPaint101

I would love to give you some info on the architecture program but I don't have friends who are in that major so I can't tell you much. Let's hope an architecture major sees this and can help you. Like any major, there is a lot of hard work and dedication required outside of classes to succeed. With this school, it all depends on you and your work ethic. If you work hard and dedicate lots of time to sharpen your skills and win over competition, you'll succeed.

  • Hey, I am dorming this fall in this residence. I am wondering how are the bathroom, since I got emailed there is no bathroom. Lol.

  • @InoaxClara21

Each floor has one large communal bathroom. Each bathroom has about four stalls (like a public restroom) and about four showers, large mirrors, etc. There is also one private bathroom with one toilet, per floor (except the 2nd floor). The individual rooms in Howard Brodie do not have their own bathrooms, all the people share the communal bathroom on their floor. It's not as bad as it sounds, if you are worried. They are cleaned daily, and people are respectful.

  • oh okay. thank you. there is one per person right?

  • @jordanbozin3

    Yes, everyone gets their own.

  • hehhe making project in the room..

  • If I don't get accepted into Cal Art, SFAI or CCA , which are all 35,000 a year which is like 60,000 in two years (not cool) this is my back up school. The others are venomous money suckers that need to abolished no matter what accreditation. Reform College Now! I'm going here, the only art school which won't leave me in an alley, broke. Nice walls , this place looks nice.

  • I am interested in coming to AAU on the Fall of 2013, I am doing Culinary Arts :)

  • If I don't get accepted into Calarts I'm going to this school

  • @JigokuLA I'm also majoring in illustration and I'm freaking out about how I will pay for it and I'm graduating in May!

  • I'm a senior in high school right now planning to come here in the Fall of 2012. I want to hear from a student that actually attends (not their website) about the kinds of people that go to this school, how good their interior design program is, the workload, and just their overall experience of going to AAU? Thanks :)

  • Is it possible, to 'afford' this school, with your own means?? Like Scholarships, FAFSA (last resort - loans) and a full-time job...

  • i did the summer program!! I WAS ON THE 6th floor! 606 at the HOWARD BRODIE!! =) I MISS IT!!

  • All white walls...oh my gosh O.O. I might attend this place in fall 2012 also and I see the dorms are okay to live in lol. Advertising is something I'm looking into and I've heard they've got a good program in the Bay Area.
