  • I like to do basically the same thing but using chicken broth and mascarpone cheese in the polenta. I also use green onion at the end of cooking it. We eat it this way for supper and then any leftovers go into a loaf pan to be fried up for breakfast.

My kids love it. It is a quick, cheap meal for us when we need it. I copied the recipe from an expensive restaurant in our area.

  • This sounds good! The cheeses and broth add depth to the dish for sure!

    Thanks for sharing!

  • Can you use feed corn 2 save a few bucks??

    5/5

  • Thanks for the question and rating! (o:

Although feed corn is cheaper it is most certainly GMO and supposedly not 'food grade' for people, but that is up to the individual.

    It would be cheaper.

    Thanks!

  • this reminds me of a lil b video

  • you take the pyrex and then you rock with it roll with it

  • LOL! It's like flying napalm isn't it? I just love the "polenta" with garlic and Parmesan. Then doing the saute. Nummy!

  • oops,I SHOULD have said, Aflatoxin is the poison

produced by Aspergillus mold, which is found in

corn. Also, it's often found in peanuts, too.

    Very bad stuff!

  • what would make the feed corn not 'food grade'

would be if it had more mold in it. Aflatoxin, a mold

often found in corn, is one of the most carcinogenic

substances there is. Of course, a certain amount

is also found in 'food grade' corn. Arrowhead Mills

is the only grain company I know of that tests their products for aflatoxin.

  • Unless it is organic, I would just assume it is gmo.
