Fantastique! This video made me smile. My sister's a PCV in Burkina Faso and likes to tell me all about pooping in holes and her bucket douche. I am forcing her to move to Chicago with me when her service is up.
Your videos are great! I hope to see more from Burkina, and I hope they feature plus d'enfants qui dansent.

My son was just sworn as a Peace Corps volunteer in Cameroon this week. Your song and video give me a glimpse of what he is doing there. Thank you for your service.
Matt. 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called children of God.

I'm about to go to Morocco in a month, and this has me rethinking bringing my guitar!

@smtigg Bring it, for sure! It'll come in handy when you have downtime.

I just happened to catch this on television and it got stuck in my head just from hearing it once so I had to see if it was on YouTube. I love this song and video so much that I want to join the Peace Corps all over again!

@davehotstream thanks! My service is winding up pretty soon and I'm already getting nostalgic. When was this on TV?

Hey, just wanted to let you know I absolutely ADORE this video - and your newest one in French - and I watch them every time I feel depressed about how long of a wait I've been in the treacherous PC application process - I applied in June 09, had a July 2010 nomination get cancelled, then had a Nov 2010 invitation to Lesotho get cancelled due to security concerns 20 days before departure...and now I'll be going to Morocco in March. I think this video perfectly sums up the joy of being a PC!

@shiite7 hey - thanks! It was a long process for me too (though not as long as yours), but its worth it. All the waiting will make it even sweeter once you finally arrive - good luck!
