Phantom of The Opera: How to Save a life (Meg/Erik)

Okay, here's the story:

At the end of the movie, Christine ended up staying with Erik to save Raoul. But after one of Erik's many outbursts of anger, she decides that the best decision would be to break up with him. She knows he wouldn't hurt her, and now that he doesn't have anything to hold over her head, he has no choice but to let her go.

Meg is the first person Christine contacts when she leaves Erik. Since the beginning of the movie, Meg has harbored a secret resentment towards Christine and her vanity, so when Meg learns that Christine left Erik for Raoul, she goes down into the opera house cellars to find and consol Erik; making her become his one and only friend.

During the course of their budding friendship, Erik begins to realize that he's developing very serious feelings towards little Meg. Unable to voice those feelings in fear of being hurt again, Erik has another one of his little outbursts. Meg goes to her mother in tears, and seeing how much the phantom has hurt her daughter, Mme. Giry forbids him from ever seeing her again. She doesn't fear Erik's wrath because she knows he won't hurt either her or Meg due to the amicable relationship he's had with Mme. Giry over the years.

During their seperation Erik is unable to ignore or deny the feelings he's developed for Meg, and he knows that he's hurt her so badly that she might not come back. He watches her practice on stage on the rafters, and is spotted by one of the stage hands, and his return to the surface world makes everyone think that the opera house really IS haunted--- all except Meg, who decides to go after him, despite her mother's protests.

Meg finds Erik in his lair, where he confesses that he loves her. Happy, Meg tells him that she loves him too. The two of them decide to live in his lair together, away from the opera house.
