This is a solid cover of the DEVO original and I enjoy it.

Dont deride it because it doesnt fit in your pigeonholes of what the kiddies think "punk rock" should sound like.

You cant really get more punk than DEVO. If that statement confuses you then you've missed the point of punk entirely.

But spinnerette isn't exactly "punk" though. Now before you all jump on me, that statement has little to do with Spinnerette's sound as has to do with Brody's words. She's using Spinnerette as a way to "think out of the punk rock box", her words. So, yeah, Spinnerette isn't exactly punk seeing as Brody herself wants to go in a different musical direction, which is fine, she rocks regardless, and this is an awsume cover, I love devo.
