  • Hello, I am joining a worship band, and I am upgrading my sound. I have some pedals from the80's that work fine. The only thing I don't have is a tap tempo delay, which seems to be pretty popular anymore. I was thinking of the M 13 to be the "all in one" solution, but I am worried about loosing my tone through it. Do you notice any tone sucking, or any alteration of your guitar signal ? When I listen to videos of the M 13, I hear the same sort of tone out of all of them. I'm not sure what it is

  • @timtheflyguy The M13 has both true bypass and buffered bypass of the signal. So, depending on your other pedals you can play with that to see what sounds best for you. I think the coloration of the signal is very, very subtle if you can hear it at all. Not a big deal IMO. An Ernie Ball volume pedal would color it way more.

  • Hey Troy, I was wondering what kind of cable do you use to run between the buffer and the amps. I looks pretty heavy duty. My church is looking into the possibility of isolating our guitar amps as well. Thanks for the video, I shared it with our team to explain what type of setup would be suitable for us.

  • @countstoneula Boy, I couldn't tell you. It is just an xlr cable that goes from the buffer to the routing boxes built into the floor. Then on the dock where the amps are it is another xlr. (mic cable)

  • Pt 50 , but think it might be to much , love it tho and I already picked the same speakers

  • @CHIPDADDY1000 Yeah it is a LOT of amp. Awesome, but overkill. I sold it a long time ago. If you are looking at a different route here's what I would do. The Suhr badger 18 will get 98 percent of the job done for what I play. Get that and a Suhr badger 1x12 cab with the scumback M75. If you want to be voxier get the Suhr 2x12 (open back) and put in a blue or scumnico with an M75. Then mic the one you want depending on your songs or mood. Scumnico for voxy, M75 for marhsall-y.

  • The PT on the Suhr amp head stands for Pete Thorn, Phenom guitar player.

  • Badger 18 is amahazing! Love my Badger combo :D

  • @troymkennedy Your right, its all in where your heart lies.... i've heard steve vai sound like steve vai on a squier stratocaster. Its the same way with God i believe. Walmart guitars sound the same as Gibsons to him if they both used in the spirit of genuine worship. God has certainly blessed me with a nice setup (better than many)... but if he would continue to bless me with a Morgan Amp, Les Paul, Jhs Pedals, etc im going to worship the same regardless. Its all for him :)

  • Even tho I'm at a predominantly elderly church and we don't stuff like this this was still very informative and interesting. Thanks!
