""It's all in the eyebrows!" - In his review of Me and Orson Welles, Dr Kermode thinks that actor Christian McKay brilliantly captures the lead character, Orson Welles, using his eyebrows in Richard Linklater's film, which also stars Zac Efron and Claire Danes.

  • Kermode isn't actually a prick at all. People just make him talk like a prick sometimes because they show him no respect, which they should.

  • Remember "Ed Wood" (the movie, not the man himself)?

Vincent D'Onfrio did an eerily good Orson Welles.

  • lol why is the other dude such a fucking douche?

  • @Columboyd Of Pinky and the Brain fame.

  • @OxTheWriter D'Onofrio only did the body double. Orsons voice was dubbed by Maurice LaMarche

  • Efron is fine people start in fluff and get better.

Look at Michael J Fox, family ties was crap but he got better.

As did Reece Witherspoon, she was Legally Blonde but then she turns into June Carter.

Efron was very good. McKay was better but thats the point.

  • A grossly under-rated movie. Excellent performances from all the cast.

  • "Orson Welles and Me"*

  • That welles voice is spot on.

  • love this review! I totally agree with it. There is this snobbery about Zac becuase he started off in High School Musical , but everyone starts somewhere. People say that Zac was totally overshadowed by Christian, therefore Zac wasn't good enough for the film, but actually I think they saw Orson overshadowing Richard, which was supposed to happen.

  • On the hand Mr.Kermore really knows what he's talking about, on the other hand he uses way too many words to express himself. I really had to struggle to keep on listening to his waffle for the sake of the substance of it. I definitely will go see Me and Orson Welles.

  • The Good Doctor deserves all the respect you can give him. Long review MK!
