I'll never forget the last episode of that show, in January 1978- Joyce Whitman's {Betty} TV series, "Undercover Woman", was going to get the ax, until the network [CBS!] changed its mind. When she asks ex-husband- and her director- John {John Hillerman} WHY her series was spared, he says dryly, "One of the chimps died..".
Betty White deserves her own fucking channel!!!!!

It looks like Retro Junk pulled this off of videoholic2008's account.

I thought The Betty White Show was very weell acted, let down by not so great scripts and the public don't like behind the scenes type shows.

No way could Betty bridge over to a new character and sitcom right out of "MTM".
It was the "George Costanza" trap. Not 'til
'85 could Susan Harris unveil her as spacy
Rose Nyland on NBC.
