@redangel6425 windows 7 and the asus drives reduce the power that you use
but in ubuntu i had the same problem and i tried so many power managements
on ubutnu but nothing happened
finaly use the windows which come with the netbook
it will give you the perfect time nearby 9.30 to 10.30 hours

Hi, i have this netbook with ubuntu lucid os installed.
can u tell me how many hours of battery life u are getting with yours?
im only getting 5 to 6 hours batt life in this netbook that hast 48mah 6 cell batteries.
i wanna know if i need to ask the store to replace mine?
