Jedi (9 months) has his first boating experience. His breed (Keeshond) were originally bred to be watchdogs on barges, so we expected him to naturally enjoy being on a boat. I didn't realise he would take to it this quickly!!!!! Amazing how genetics plays a large part.
And so Ahsoka (5 months) didn't feel left out, we let her have a go, too. Her breed (Finnish Lapphund) was definitely not bred to be on boats, but she adapted quickly and was happy to be on the boat.

it's amazing the natural instincts, they have great balance and can turn on a dime. I have friends, a couple, who have kayaks and they each have a keeshond that love to go boating with them.
Interesting how the Lapphund looks less confident.

Wow, Jedi is doing really well. Busta (my Keeshond) is exactly the same. When we go out in our boat, he bee lines straight for the best vantage point (which is usually right up the very front) and just sits there bolt upright keeping watch.
Excellent video's too. Keep up the brilliant training.
