Frameshift was born in Virginia Beach, VA of the Geluso brothers, Mike (Guitar) and Anthony (Drums). In 1997 Anthony met guitarist Bill Landon (bass) in the music dept. of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA were they were both getting there music degrees; Anthony's in Music Ed., Bill's in Music Composition. He transfered his Vai-esque guitar talents to bass and joined Frameshift. Keyboardist Mike Cardoza joined the following year to round the the musicians of the band. Frameshift has had two performing singers in the bands history. It has been a difficult spot to maintain in the band and is currently looking for a vocalist and is recording and playing instrumentally until that time.
(continued)- A couple years later they then released their second album with Bach on vox. Like I said in the last post, we are on the local level. If we get so fortunate be grow to a regional or nation stage then we obviously have to reconsider our options. But please know that we've had the name longer that "Weaving the Rainbow" was a thought in anyone's head and we're not trying to rip off or bank on anyone else success.

Yes, you are correct. If you read the info on the right side you will notice that we have been a locally established band for quite some time, since about 1998, which is many years prior to Weaving the Rainbow. We did find it a bummer when we heard of this project release, especially under the coincidence that we are Dream Theater fans. We contacted Progrock records about it and they stated that it was a one-time project and didn't see a problem in it. They even sent us "Weaving the Rainbow"
