"Doc Bruce Banner, belted by gamma rays, turned into the Hulk, ain't he unglamo-rays! Wreckin' the town with the power of a bull, ain't no monster clown,
Who is that lovable? It's ever lovin' Hulk! HULK!! HULK!!"
actually with tv, that was because Kennith Johnson the guy who brought the incredible hulk to the little screen.. wanted to get as far away from the comic book as he could..
He wanted to make the idea of a man turning into an uncontrollable creature as realistic as possible.. he thought, what if it were real and happened today. he also wanted to make the hulk red btw.. and Richard Keil was originally cast as the hulk monster.. Kennith's idea was to make a modern day dr. jeckle and mr.hide
