This is a video to inform you about who we are and what we do. A Heart for Haiti Missions is a Christian non-profit organization that is faith based and serves both in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. We are an all volunteer group and 100% of all donated funds are given directly to the people in need. In Haiti our main goal is Feeding, Education and Sustainability. We are also a support system to the indigenous pastors in Haiti. In the D.R. we are a support system to Haitians living there and to missionaries traveling to and from Haiti, giving them assistance in transportation, a place to stay and with interpretation needs. Evangelism in the areas of prostitution and gambling is a challenge. Hi "J", the water filters were something we helped with (transporting and inspecting) and am sure we will do more with them in the future. Plus, we repaired the water storage system, so clean water is a concern of ours. Just to clarify. Thanks for the concern, the filter in the video was donated by a friend of Haiti's in Maine which we inspected, and another not pictured was transported by us and our funds. Hey Deb we transported the one water filter in and I helped interpret for the others brought in, but it was not our ministry that purchased them. We only asisted at getting them in. Julienne
