Shortly before filming this video of Sderot's empty streets, we were kindly invited by one of the residents for coffee where she told us about life in Sderot. She asked we do not film her on account of the Shabat (Jewish day of rest). She explained how she has not gone to work for 4 years now because her 14 year old daughter is terrified of the rockets and keeps calling her to come home whenever the code for rockets launched from Gaza, "Tzeva Adom" (Red Color), is heard throughout the city urging the residents to seek shelter.
