  • @radioactiviteed-Another retard who thinks if a singer doesn't scream through 99% of a song then its emo. Go listen to some of glassjaws earlier shit and tell me its emo.

  • Anyone, (metalhead or not), who says Daryl Palumbo is emo needs to be kicked in the face.

  • thank u joey jordison for making this awsome song xD stay sic maggots!

  • weird to see people talking of Daryl as a "kid", Glassjaw have been around since '93. That and rebuttals to the "that's so soft and emo" people aside, I wish other labels did this kind of thing, having musicians collaborate like this.

  • emo is screamo without the scream. nuff said interpret it as you will.

  • @ElGuayoteo Agreed!

  • @TheVampiressLisa

lol Id like to see more of that, It gets old seeing the "my music is better than your music" mid teenager so I know all comments lol

  • @TheVampiressLisa And Amen to that aswell.

And yes, people who chat shit about bands they don't like will usually alter facts in order to make their own band more favourable. So what if Stone Sour was formed first and aren' as angry as Slipknot, so what if Slipknot aren't quite as "fucking mental" anymore, so what if Joey Jordison doesn't always feel the need to lay down the blast beats and super fast drumming in a song? Doesn't make any of these things bad. Silly people.

  • @Spotfarm666 Didn't have the space to say this in my first response On those same boards, I have read comments from "Maggots" swearing on their lives that Slipknot was formed first.

The way I see it, styles change as ppl grow. A lot of old school NIN fans have told me that they hate the new stuff because it's "not angry enough". Well, yeah... He's no longer doing drugs and is happily married.

Humans are always growing and changing. Guess what? Musicians are human too.

  • @Spotfarm666 Amen to that. Every fandom has ppl like this...

Something similar happened when Corey and Jim restarted their original band Stone Sour. Now, you can CLEARLY tell the difference between Slipknot and Stone Sour. I've been on boards where "Maggots" were bitching about Stone Sour before they had even heard their music.

Wanna know why Joey's always busy? It's because he can play various styles, which means he can easily adapt to almost any band you can think of.

  • @TheVampiressLisa Sometimes the arrogance of metal fans astound me.

OH MY GOD THEY DID SOMETHING I DON'T LIKE. THEY'RE SHIT" Grow up people seriously. I agree with you chap. Just cuz a member of Slipknot wrote a song that isn't particularly metal doesn't make it bad. It showcases Joey's skills as a musician and a songwriter, which is what this album was about. Not about Joey writing a bunch of Slipknot songs. Playing metal doesn't make you the best, but being able to play other stuff ASWELL does
