@ffjwhite Oh i know, i have seen a bunch of depts. with it, and i have no idea how they arent getting busted for it! I know MCSO is really strict about it, they fined a ton of depts. for having blue in the rear here a while back....

Curious, I live in New York. How does New York state exactly require you to setup a POV? I heard only one blue light rotating....but isn't that a little not noticable? Are you able to have Amber lights on your truck anywhere with your blue light? Or more then blue light. Please let me know:D Not very educated on this,.

@CopyEmAll You are allowed one light that is visible 360 degrees. It doesn't state how many rotators it has to have. It just states you are allowed on light. One lightbar would be considered one light. You are allowed to have amber with blue. However In this video I am a line officer in my department and I am allowed to run red and blue to the rear, like most law enforcement agencies do now.

@countryfirefighter I am in northern NY. Up near Massena and Malone. I ended up taking the MX7000 off the truck cause my gas mileage went from 20mpg to 12mpg.

Thank god NYS passed that law, what a difference!! Now of course, departments are putting blue all over the front too!

@FirefighterEmt4Life If they are doing that, then thats illegal. It only states that it can be to the Rear Only. I am surprised no one said anything yet.
