  • My favorite versions of this absolutely perfect song...to different to compare. :

The Seekers Absolute perfection, crystal clarity, & the most perfect female folk music voice of all time.

The Byrds Oh my gosh, what a sound!.

Simon Sisters (in Hooteany DVD).... was on YouTube but looks like it disappeared. Absolute perfect, stark, primitive harmony and simplicity, grabs you from 45 years ago.

And of course, Pete Seeger wrote it, a folk music god who still walks the earth.

  • She has the most perfect folk music voice of all time.

  • Skip to 1:00 min, beautiful Judith Durham will make you stop and listen. Something trance-like in their arrangement, very timeless feel. Thanks.

  • Pwhoar! At 0.46 Judith trotting and her heaving assets. But back to the song, this must be the best acoustic version. Could The Byrds version impress without their 12 string ELECTRIC guitars.

  • Very very nice. TURN to TRUTH, TURN to integrity, TURN to the scriptures, TURN to the LORD JESUS CHRIST - TODAY - before its too late .. and Death sweeps you awayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy .. turn .......... turn ......... turn ................. now.........

  • @FernandezMustDie1988 THIS IS FOLK ROCK VIDEO AND NOT TO BE TAKEN LITERALLY

  • like brainwashed sect people.

  • AH NO!

  • Wow. Loved this song forever. Had no idea there was a video. Was this the FIRST music video???

  • Judith's angelic vocal from heaven.

  • @TheKenfig I was thinking something similar. I always thought that Grace Slick's voice had a purity to it, similar, but not quite the same as Judith's voice. I think it was the clarity of both bands vocals that stood out for me.
