@squeemishly1 Yeah, I know why it was called grunge, but its not punk, its just rock. Dirty rock. If grunge is synonym of punk, then Soundgarden and Gruntruck are punk too. It just doesn't make any sense.

@squeemishly1 If its not alternative rck then it's college rock. Nirvana never was punk. The fact that they liked punk didn't made them punk. Nirvana was a reincarnation of 70's best hard rock.

no it was punk. it was an out there punk rock style. grunge was the term that the music producers called it cause it sounded different than all the hair metal bands
