  • You don't need to modify the mount, you just need to put the GPS in the right way. Put the bottom in FIRST, then bend the little tab back very slightly and the eyelet will grab the belt knob perfectly. Seriously, if you use the unit correctly you will realize how backwards your approach was.

    You don't have to now because the RAM Mount has been modified. The old cradle doing it your way damages the rubber boot at the bottom and the rib at the back has been known to crack.

  • my ram mount cradle for my 60csx isn't very good on the rough stuff (dirtdike) it came out a few times. luckily i found it and had to tie wrap them together...
