This is fantastic. I am cycling this winter in Ottawa. Love it. We have a transit strike and it is not effecting me at all.

You can get these tires easily from most bike stores. If you live in Canada try Mountain Equipment Co-op.

I got the sudden urge to smack some old guy on the back of his head!
BTW, love the electric bike!

I was wondering why you use 2 volt meters instead of one? also can you send me the electric diagram of the volt-meter with the resistors and all the components , i saw 1 on e bay that measures from 0 to 500volts its that ok??
Thanks for the help

I use 2 voltmeter cause i had 2 separeted battery pack in serie and i need to montor each individually to ensure they stay balanced.
generally dc digital voltmeter can accept 200mV, 2V 20V and 200V depending on the jumper seting you choose on the voltmeter board.
A 0-500Vdc should be ok.. but try keeping the first digit for the 1/10th volt for accurate reading..
Also they generally need to be supplyed with an external power supply like 5V.

The total cost is around 1400$ and i built battery myself.
The top speed on flat is 64kph (40mph) no pedal on flat ground. and 84kph in downhill.
