Wow! What a good son! I love the design. That explains the size of some of your koi. Very impressive! My goldfish are getting quite large! Some even had babies already last yr. and it is not even 2 yrs old til this July. So I guess I did ok.

The pond is about 5 and a half feet deep....we live in Phoenix, so we need a very deep pond to keep the water cool in the summer! We also recommend a really good filtration system.

Nice pond! Lost of costly KOi!! Cute dog! I used fancy goldfish in my pond in case I was a bad fishkeeper. Your pond is very zen...mine is heart shaped and not as neatly done. Very nice!!

You are smart to start off with goldfish....my son designed and built this pond by himself and we have had some of the fish for over 10 years.....any kind of fish is very relaxing to watch....
