A human fetus is nothing more than an undeveloped human body that does not have consciousness and is incapable of living on its own outside of the mothers womb. With that said, that is what differentiates a person from a fetus. Its like terminating a brain dead relative essentially. Once the baby gets to about 5 months and can survive on its own, I would agree that it shouldn't be terminated at that point.

@natanaru I agree with you with using the tactic of safe sex. But there's no reason why abortion should be outlawed. What if the baby is born and had AIDS due to the woman being raped? Then you spread the AIDS virus, thus killing real innocent people. Also, do you care of poaching going on in Africa? Where real living beings have been harmed?
