Dove Hunting

Opening day of the 2011 season found us hunting a public land dove field. We enjoyed some hot wingshooting, so I share one of my favorite ways of preparing doves with our bounty. If your hunting ducks and geese, try this recipe, simply cut the breasts into small cubes.

Is any diference between doves and wild pigeons, I mean in taste ?

I know both are related to chikens :)) Thx

That I don`t know,never had any wild pigeon before,I do know they are both dark meat.Wouldn`t think there would be too much.Then again,the taste of any wild game depends greatly on it`s diet,and Dove stick to grain and seed,where as pigeons,well,who knows what they will eat!

All doves that I got were full of corn . I was curios if pigeons are any different.

@slowbowvideo haha. Yeah i actually never heard of such a thing. It's just like i was in Walmart and i had seen the sign showing the season for the different species and i had seen Crow. I was like why the hell would you kill a crow? That bird is intelligent as hell. Either way I still loved the video and please if you go hunting for Wild Boar / Pigs, please get that on video. I love to eat them and that is the one animal i would go hunting for, besides my sisters parrot. Haha
