This video is not talking about the Ethiopian Jews. Its referring to the tens of thousands of Illegal Sudanese Muslim immigrants streaming into Israel through the Egyptian border. There is a law that allows Jews - who lived as Jews or converted to Judaism, to live in Israel, because Jews are persecuted in many countries to this day. The problem he's dealing with is that there are some who claim religious authority, allowing in "converts" who do not actually convert to the religion.

A. I'm a teacher and a volunteer and a neighbor and a friend with Ethiopian Jews. B. Israeli laws are fair to all. Arabs (and Palestinians) included. Compare that with the Hamas laws in Gaza, or the fair laws of Saudi Arabia, Iran or grand Syria. C. Yes I am aware that there are some people who are racist in my country, but most are not - the vast majority. And my Jewish Ethiopian friends who were with me in the last rally acknowledge that.

@pashute12 Do you not keep up with recent news? Israel is known to be discriminative and prejudced against blacks. Especially the Ethiopian Jews, whose traditions and history they are trying to wipe out.

I have students and family members who are Jews from Africa. One of my best friends is a Jew from Kenya, who looks EXACTLY like Barak Obama. He is a Yeshiva student and teaches in his local town. NOBODY has anything to say about him not being Jewish. He is Israeli, with all the rights that I have.

So, your claim that Israel is racist, and your building on these words of Neeman, is based on distorting the facts. Sorry.

Let's get it straight:

1. The problem is of hundreds of thousands of illegal border crossing. MOSTLY but not all from Africa. Do you agree that it is a problem? If your country (whichever it be) had hundreds of thousands of people entering it illegally, would it pose a problem. Of course it would.

2. He never said no-one could convert. He made it clear that conversion is to the RELIGION. & ONLY for that reason!
